Interior design...it's a personal thing
I really enjoy what I do. A blessing but also essential, as interior design can be both personally and professionally challenging.
Where we live, and how we live, is a reflection of who we are, or who we were the day the trendy goldenrod refrigerator was delivered.
So to say that design is a "matter of taste" is an understatement. It's a matter so personal that to some people that "oldie but goodie" fridge has sentimental value. For them, part of the process of upgrading a kitchen, renovating an entire home, or building a new one is letting go. Part of my job, then, is to be sensitive to what that means and translate it into who they are now.
The fact that you're here means that you must be ready for a change. Good for you! Here's how I can help you:

Meet with you at your home or place of business,
or my studio/showroom, to talk
through your ideas, show you my portfolio, and go over the process and fee
structure.

Develop a design plan and an estimate of fees,
furnishings, materials, contract labor,
and other expenses, depending on the scope of the project. New
construction is one of
my fortes.
•
Provide sources for beautiful, high-quality indoor and outdoor furniture;
home
accessories; home fabrics; kitchen appliances, cabinetry and fixtures; window
treatments; carpet, hardwood, stone
and ceramic flooring; granite, marble, tile
and other countertop materials; lighting; and custom-designed architectural elements,
decorative paint treatments, and other unique features.
I keep a complete and current
inventory of samples and catalogues in my
showroom.

Hire and oversee contractors.
•
Travel on buying trips, and negotiate purchases.
•
Encourage you to let go of the old fridge.
