Public places, personal spaces
How do you make a public space, like a restaurant, feel personal? Soft, romantic colors. Intimate lighting. Unique, custom-designed features, such as decorative paint treatment. Stylish yet comfortable seating. A space plan that works for both customers and staff.
In designing the interiors for Vivace Restaurant in Tucson, Arizona, I tried to balance the customers’ enjoyment of great food, wine, and conversation and the restaurant staff’s ability to serve their guests.
A knowledgeable, experienced interior decorator can bring fresh thinking, resource management, and additional oversight to a variety of commercial projects.
I’m licensed and bonded, and also certified to plan, direct and oversee projects that involve structural improvements or additions to existing buildings or new construction.
I also maintain a working studio and showroom, and have long-time working relationships with the best, most reliable sources for contract furniture, flooring, and lighting, as well as local architects, contractors and craftsmen.
